The performance of MCGARRY (IRE), which finished unplaced, was considered. Stuart Coltherd’s explanation that MCGARRY (IRE) didn’t handle the sharp nature of the track, which resulted in the gelding never travelling and also making some jumping errors was noted. The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities. MCGARRY (IRE) was routine tested.
