I backed Congesbury. What was the point of any of that crap?
Try explaining it to a non racing addict. 'Second fave, well backed, third at the course over a mile in a novice stakes, ridden 1f out, reasonable to assume some sort of chance. None in the event. Faded at about 5f, came last. Rag did better.'

Better course than Newcastle or Southwell thou...most horses half a chance to run their races .. on form Dark Trooper was the play ..it won easy...least gives form followers galf a chance there ..

I prefer Newcastle and Wolves on the basis I can find winners there and few dreams die in messy run-ins like Kempton. I hate Kempton so much.

I find it the easiest to find winners tbh think best surface and most have equal chance as n9t many hard luck stories like Lingfield and many horses dont like Southwell/Newcastle so harder imv to judge the form ..
