Cheltenham councillors fed up with many men urinating on walls around the racecourse area are painting the walls with a special hydrophobic paint which has chemicals that repel urine and splash it back on to the trousers of the culprits soaking them.

Not a racing problem in particular, it's men and beer. There is a similar problem in some towns on the Transpennine Real Ale Trail, certainly in Marsden.

Try using a urinal when you’re wearing shorts. Splash back aplenty. Which actually means there’s piss all over your jeans every time you use a urinal, you just don’t know!
