Did a wee write up but disappeared. I've went for Ferns Lock albeit only one pilot in the race.  O'Neill must keep to the same tactics as LTO. Lead and catch me if you can.

Thanks Ramruma, I would still want to be on Ferns if they both make it to the final, the same stable have other live chances though with Vaucelet and Winged leader.

Thanks lads. A losing day turned into a winning day. I never had a bet yesterday as it was just not my scene. Had I lost today it would have meant a well earned break because as A wise man told me....'If you're on a good run stew, keep going'. This run will end and I'll stop for a month with little damage.

GC, that ante post bet looking sweeter now. Even for me! GL with it.

I haven't punted all of these 30 days but one losing day and I'm off for a deserved break.....

Ferns lock hasn't a hope in hell in Cheltenham,a 6yo in the Hunter,no way has the constitution(runs on Tuesday)for a grueller like this.
If you could lay a place I would be all over it(oh you can then I will be all over it).

Open to correction but I think Billaway has yet to win first time out every season and it's a bit to go between now and Cheltenham for it to strip fitter, seems to find a bit more and dig deep there.

No problems Ambush, I did have a few £s on Antepost but more than covered it on the win Today, just seemed strange that the horse was entered for Cheltenham, my own fault really, he still has 2 live chances entered up.!
By:
Ramruma
When: 23 Jan 23 05:36
Ferns Lock is not entered for Cheltenham and nor are the others, although they probably will be. The Cheltenham Hunter Chase entries have not been announced yet. GC may have been misled by bookmakers' antepost lists or by something the Racing Post does to be "helpful" when it shows the race as:-
Cheltenham St. James's Place Festival Challenge Cup Open Hunters' Chase (Class 2) (POSSIBLE ENTRIES) (3m2½f)

The "possible entries" shown as a race card make life simpler for form students. The Cheltenham entries for different races are trickled out through January and February; we've already had the championship races, for instance, but not the novice hurdles. Last are the cross-country, bumper and hunter chase. The Racing Post's big race entries page is at:-

The dates entries are announced to us mere mortals are shown at the bottom of this page:-

I said the Horse was entered for the Chelt race, which he was and still is, albeit at an early stage, I am no expert on this but when I used the Racing Post site the entry was described as " early closer ",
Never seen the term " possible " but assume they are the same thing.

Not the same thing as posted earlier the entries aren't out yet.

Constitution as in Hill runs on Tuesday
