Good Gde 2 race here with Mullins having 3/6rnrs & Chacun Pour Soi
stepping up from the 2Ms in this today.Fakir D'oudaries should be a
lot fitter today after his 2nd to the Gold Cup jolly Galopin Des Champs
@Punch'n. Ran in this last year when rnr up behind Allaho (btn 12L),proven
4x Gde 1 wnr over this sort of trip which gives him the edge over Chacun Pour Soi
to me.Should confirm the Punch'n form with both Lifetime Ambition & Haut En Couleurs
even with the weight pull in their favour.Stays up will be hard to beat in this.

I saw him win well at Ascot in February,that looks the best form over today's distance .I am surprised that he is out to 2/1 with the books this morning.I could not back Chacun Pour Soi at 2/1 to reproduce his best over a new trip as an 11 year old.But I have been wrong many times before.

Fakir D'oudairies is out to 9/4 with Bet365, but does make the odd mistake and the Ascot & Aintree form last season is good. Chacun Pour Soi (who is an 11yo) form is a bit ahead albeit over 2m and his Irish form alone is top notch except for last time. Royal Rendezvous (also an 11 yo) had some decent form last season, but ran like a drain last time.
9/4 is very tempting... |

Yes this looks his trip and seems a very reliable horse despite the owner been some great winners of this race the likes of Allaho,don cossack,sizing John ,newmill ,native upmanship (how many Ryanair’s would he have won )and unbelievably amberleigh house.

good luck penzance , royal rendesvous also an 11yo, on official ratings is rated 163 the same as fakir and the pair are 4 pound below chacan pour soir ,he has to put a dissapointing run in the savills behind him but that was over 3m quite possible they were riding him in the hope of getting the trip and he clearly didnt what we do know is todays trip is no problem also that run could have brought him on nicely for today not got a lot to find with chacan and as said on ratings the same horse as fakir but can be backed at 16/1 bog b365 .could be a bit of value .
