Jockeys walk course,ifs frozen solid,refuse to race.
Kirkland ,very sad can’t race,but at least we sold a few pints,sorry for all the fuel costs for trainers but haydock don’t have to pay..punters get a refund,but not on travel costs.
Haydock board,well done Kirkland at least not a total loss.
Kirkland ,looked raceable to me at midnight even though minus 5.

totally unjustified slur on the grade 1 course of lancashire that has .....erm, rubbish viewing, idiot punters in summer , plastic pint pots in ' premier' , pothole ridden car park, lousy public transport links, but is rescued by the clerk of the course who deserves to be at chester . why is the north west served by these places ????

Technically he’s the best clerk in racing,morally he’s shocking.
He always says,great ground,etc etc,many many times he’s been wrong,at the expenses of owners,punters,everyone who travels,then dosent run because of ground. Clerks have to be upbeat,to encourage runners and punters,but there’s a line how far you can hope,he crosses it reguarlary. In reply to post,haydock can’t help where it’s situated,a few pot holes ain’t that bad,most tracks park you in fields,idiot punters in summer are big spenders,it’s good viewing can see all the track from every stand. He was considered for the job at Chester,but when he said in the interview,I think your course has the best straight mile in racing,one or two of the board questioned his suitability. |

It’s not rained for days,bright sunshine all day forecast,it’s just the temp is minus at night and only 2 in day, It just won’t thaw. Hope I m wrong and tellwrong,finally can earn his name and tell us right. |

Hmm. Racing Post shows racing abandoned but nothing on Haydock's twitter or website, or anywhere else that I can see, not even the Post's news section.

No one is having a go at all the other racecourses that could not race this week.
Course covered overnight and coldest night of week for the area. Done all they could do to try to race. |

no other course reported been raceable the day before, if a weeks frost has come out of the ground and your fit to race,cover it at that point how does - 3 make it not raceable,
