Today's meeting at Plumpton has been abandoned due to frost following an 8:30am inspection.
The course had a small amount of frozen ground as of Tuesday afternoon but those areas did not thaw in time for racing.
After three-quarters of an inch of snow overnight, Wolverhampton will need to pass a 9:30am inspection, with further snow expected before sunrise.
The first day of Lingfield's Winter Million fixture on Friday was called off on Tuesday afternoon because of freezing temperatures.
However, the £110,000 Sovereign Handicap Hurdle and £50,000 Godstone Handicap Chase have been salvaged and switched to Sunday, when they will be part of a nine-race card if the weather allows racing to go ahead.
Saturday's second day of the Million meeting is an all-weather Flat programme and Lingfield's clerk of the course George Hill, speaking before Friday's cancellation, said on Tuesday: "We had a fairly sharp frost last night and it's frozen in some areas underneath the covers. We're forecast freezing temperatures every night for the next three days and daytime plus temperatures but the forecast into the weekend is still slightly unknown. It will certainly be a challenge and we'll just have to see how it unfolds. It's not an ideal forecast."
The forecast in the lead-up to the weekend "presents challenges" for Ascot's Clarence House Chase card on Saturday, according to clerk of the course Chris Stickels.
Continued frosts could scupper the Grade 1 bill and valuable meetings elsewhere this week, with temperatures dropping to -6C at the track on Tuesday morning and 16mm of rain falling on Monday, leaving the course frozen in places.
The going at Ascot was described on Tuesday as soft, good to soft in places on the chase course and good to soft, soft in places on the hurdle course.
It is forecast to remain cold with sub-zero temperatures at night through to Saturday and daytime temperatures peaking at 4C.
