Lots of frost were I am and was surprised this was on today after all the talk at Punchestown yesterday that it wouldn't. I am heading down shortly its about 2 hrs 15 mins drive, I was wondering it anyone on here was near there and could confirm it was safe to travel ,nothing worse than getting half way only to have to turn back tia.

Thanks Jay Trump...Turned out a smashing day in the end weather wise, fields full of frost all the way down by Carlow and into Kilkenny then you'd think you were in a different Country after Cuffscrosse sunshine all the way , lost £200 on the day so no major damage done...

Sorry meant too add , 2/5 and 1/14 shots not a healthy sign for the revenue...Really poor crowd as was the card if I'm honest, but if you owned a winner there today I'm sure it was the greatest place on Earth..

Sadly no Punchestown , it was quite nice there today , I sat outside the stewards rooms and for all the World you'd have thought it was a Spring day. I hear Fairyhouse might be in doubt Thurs .

Thought you would have done a 10er double wonks on those 2 "winners" as your hero made them the 2 best bets on the card. You could have bought yourself a bag of chips on the way home with the profit.

Evening Workrider - all set for Leopardstown on Saturday 4th, will give you a shout when on course, travelling back Saturday night and going to Musselburgh on Sunday for their 'trials' weekend although there will be a big difference in quality!! big winning distances at clonmel including 30 lengths (I think it was even a handicap)..looks like there will be a few more cancellations before it hopefully warms up for February, hopefully Leopardstown will be on soft side maybe even heavy to soft for the saturday because it dries out so quick
