1st race Hereford - Valiran Gold 9/4 fav
Last run: Made all, not fluent 4th, pushed along before 3 out, ridden and went clear approaching last, good jump last, pushed out (trainer's rep said, regarding apparent improvement in form, gelding was suited by a change of tactics to being ridden prominently on this occasion) (op 18/1 SP 12/1)
Today: Jumped off in last and quickly tailed off.
Stewards questions anyone?
