Correct Lead On. It can ruin a horse to be involved in that race and that is why trainers are becoming reluctant to run their potential champions unless they are sure they are 100% right. On the other hand, Protektorat ran behind him at Cheltenham last March.

Long Run's decline was spectacular.
Ended up in a low grade hunter chase getting beat, winning prize money of £1500. Can always forgive a horse one bad run. Next run is the acid test. |
