The Stewards considered the running of ST ANDREWS CASTLE, ridden by Curtis Wilson-Ruddock, and trained by Iain Jardine, which finished sixth, beaten by 1¾ lengths. Wilson-Ruddock was unable to attend an enquiry owing to an injury, but the Stewards received a report from the Medical Officer that the rider had sustained a suspected dislocated shoulder during the race and was receiving the necessary treatment.
