mile novice stakes those with exp dont look extra special although  most should  improve further ,stoutes one looks to have the best form but not a lot to go on with them all  it looks an open race and some big yards represented ,gosdens one cost a packet and is a well bred son of kingman looks the part on paper but a fair few of this yards tend to come on for the race . i like the raif beckett filly  BLUE STOCKING  at a double figga price well bred and the trip  should be ideal yard in good form and have some very good juveniles  at the prices she could offer a bit of value . will be going 30% win and 70% place was around 18/1 earlier . a small win saver on uncle who was not knocked about and ran on well in what looked a good newbury maiden on debut
selection BLUE STOCKING 16 /1 or better on here  win and place  markets on here  and small win bet on  UNCLE .good luck opinions encouraged ..

Think Muktamil at 11/1 ew on here is a decent bet. Ran well last time to be 4th having met some trouble in the closing stages.

Sorry FW, but I have backed so it isn't going to win.

Backed Hornby on a big price yesterday, but of course he won the previoys race on a big priced newcomer instead. To add insult I had five places on mine, and having led until a furlong out it was beaten a short head into sixth. This comes after backing Bell Rock in the Cambridgeshire and the second, third, and fourth in the Ayr Gold Cup. When you only had three bets the latter takes some doing. So I fear the worst.

The Charlie Hills charge will be my lay of the day today. I much prefer to look elsewhere for a possible winner, and I do agree that Uncle looks a likely candidate. Win and place bet for me. Good luck Foyle!

Nice winner FOYLES,
did you hear his interview before the race about his 2 year olds today ?

he seemed to favour Remarquee 2.34 and Times Eye 3.09 as his more forward 2 year olds

Yes, well done. I need about ten of those! Sadly, given it shortened it's probably come too late for the tipping competition as well.

Looking ahead I wouldn't be surprised if she is pretty good as she was slowly away, keen, and rolling about in the run. In fact most things wrong until she was switched to the rail.

Yeah i was thinking that when they backed the first one

he said Rebel Red in the next was a very slow learner and If Not Now was a big leggy horse

got a feeling he,s not telling us much

After that I would take Beckett's comments with a pinch of salt. His horse was favourite for the next, the next has been supported, and Times Eye has drifted from 8/1-20/1. I would prefer a Frankel/Kingman over an Expert Eye.

The perils of first time out. Be very surprised if Rebel Red isn't better than that winner, but Hornby seemingly not too bothered if he couldn't win on the bridle. A good advert for backing at bigger prices.

differentdrum ......beckett said thats it for this season we will find one of the classic trials in the spring for her .or words to that effect.

Yes, I did read that last night. The mile should be no problem, and fair chance she will get ten furlongs. Much depends on the Camelot influence. So it's probably Newmarket or Newbury. If they are thinking 1,000 Guineas then you would have thought some Newmarket experience would be useful, and most Nell Gwyn's these days are not strong. Fingers crossed, but so many of these one run one win horses don't go on. On the other hand it might be that yesterday was the biggest price she will ever be.
