I'm interested. I've only ever done laying horse to win, backing horses to win, backing a place and laying a place. So you can win a big amount off a small outlay if you pick a horse to place (top 3?) in the opening 6 races of the card?

yes ,you pick one or more selections in the first 6 races and need a horse placed in each ,most people do perms but can do 1 only in each if you want .
