I'd abandon the rest of Thirsk rather than have it clash repeatedly with the other cards for the rest of the day, they can then chase the loose horse around for as long as they like.

Horse is completely ignoring them and having a jolly good time!

When will race courses realise that they need an outrider on a quarter horse to catch loose runners?

Rather than allowing the field for the next race to endlessly walk around in circles why don't they get them behind and get the race staed.
