No, has been as high as 1.91 though to win by more than 15 lengths, around 1.56 now, a better bet?
|
|
By:
1.06 not to fall/break down was value imo..1.02 wasnt.
didtance betting is for degenerates unless your friends with the jockey. |

dists 17-18

4.7 secs wotever that equates to.

Given that the other two were beaten 73 and 24 lengths by inferior horses than Presentandcounting last time out, then 15 lengths or more was quite fair.

nothing is fair unless you spoke to jockey. udderwise just a guess.

Every bet around 1.9 is part guess, but was fair price IMO that he'd put distance in ahead of the 2nd, given how weak they were.

IMO = no eye deer really but looks ok

By:
Well, as you know every price and bet is a value judgement, and I'm sure even some of yours much shorter will have lost sometimes?
A decent horse with form vs two complete no-hopers, distance? As a value bet I personally took 15 or more with a bookies price at 1.83 (so it included 15 exactly). |

evaluating a horses chances is of course value...will a certaintly win barring a fall or going lame..what is the odds in a hurdle race? would ewe take 50 any horse to fall or go lame?
whats the odds on a 1/25 winning over 15L length? absolutely no idea without inside help, seen plenty long odds on win 5L on the snaff. |
|
By:
There were quite a few factors on that winning length, if you searched around and analysed them. Just same as analysing form of a horse is still a value judgement based on factors.
Never known (apart from the completely bnt ones of course), always estimated. |

By:
I used to play spread betting distances in the past fairly successfully (until limited) based on several key factors - it can be analysed.

By:
"fairly successfully" ffs

same way anyone analyses an outcome in a betting race - I'm not going to tell you though. DYOR is the principle of course, as you know. ![]() |
