I'll not be betting on or watching 'racing league' nor 'shergar cup' but will still spend £100s following the sport I've loved for 40+ years but only because in 10-15 years time (if I'm lucky!) there won't be a racing industry in any way shape or form similar to that which has formed the background to my life...
no amount of world pools, ladies days etc can save us
and in closing anyone writing or printing baeed and frankel in the same sentence is in the wrong profession
Apart from his left wing political statements which annoy me hes actually quiteca good commebtator. Always positive and happy as the above picture shows

celtic. glad you're getting pleasure from it, that's what it's all about
for me, Baaeed has only beaten one 'decent' horse Palace Pier, but being out of Sea the Stars I wouldn't be surprised if Juddmonte and even better Arc form takes him to a level where I could say he's about the 5th best flat horse of my time as it's unlikely he'll reach Frankel, Dancing Brave, Sea the Stars and Zarkava in my eyes, but would love to see him have a go

Got properly immersed in the sport in 1975 - when I began building scrap books. Could never have imagined it would reach such a low point as this. Won't be watching Donny tonight or Ascot on Saturday. The manner in which this nonsense tonight is being marketed is stomach churning - expecting a brand new audience to adopt the sport as a team supporting concept. Happily, it will be a total failure though they'll initially attempt to paper over the cracks.

Sea The Stars' form isn't that deep tbh, although I would concede he was a great racehorse because he consistently found what was needed.
Montjeu is one that gets left out all too often, perhaps as he tailed off from the true greatness he showed after they ran him on the Tokyo road.

Sorry. I thought posters would understand that in not knowing him I know nothing of his “presentation” skills, such as they may be. Thank you for your opinion.

i dont expect originality from pundits, but he never has anything of any significance on racing itself to say. He is like an HR professional who thinks that it should all be about something other than the business irself.

Surpassed himself today. Sold out for commercial gain to support a concept entirely at odds with the best interests of British racing.
A new low even for him.

The team behind GamScore, which is chaired by presenter and entrepreneur Josh Apiafi, say the platform can use open banking and AI to provide frictionless checks, track the use of unlicensed operators and educate users about the risks they might face.
GamScore utilises open banking to provide a live view of a bettor's financial and gambling activity, and claims to be able to identify changes in behaviour or financial stress early.
It would take data three times a day and produce a score through AI which an operator would have access to.
Apiafi said: "So if your activity changes, and let's say you chase losses, that will have a negative effect on your score. It's an ongoing thing."
