Possibly a bit harsh. That camber often causes problems for pro riders tbf, the hoss doesn't seem too willing-  loads of seconds- and I think the rail helped the winner.

Odd races aren't they, I'm backing in one tomorrow, but I'll merely be hoping the hoss is in good form and no complaints if it's last.,

You pays your money and takes your chance, look at the Tuer horse the other day, you could argue it ran better for the amateur, rather than Sam James next tine.
You just have to accept they are somewhere in between pretty rubbish and not very good. That shouldn't stop them though imo

I've backed Desert Land e.w 5.08 sandown Tom, I know nowt about the rider but DL looked in decent form lto despite being unplaced. It's shortened this morning but will probably go back out. Race is a lottery as ever but I don't mind risking a bit at big odds.

Serena is the women's amateur equivalent of Dettori. been way past their best for a few years now.

The diff is you could cut both of Dettori's legs off..as well as 1 and a half of his arms..gouge one of his eyeballs out..pour 2 gallons of moonshine down his throat a couple of hrs before he mounts.. and he'd still be more capable of riding winner than Brotherton.

I always liked Serena backed many of her mounts over the years, and found her to be a very accomplished rider.

I doubt she'll be haring off at 40 mph on Micks in this race

If I'd backed that I wouldn't be happy. She's clearly thought she was winning clever. Even for her that was just nudging.

What a poor ride - cantering to the finish line and nabbed. Don't know why the Easterby's keep- using her.

She been regressing as a jockey for a while , but that was a joke of a ride .

I had no bet either, I don't entertain such races but there is no doubt she didn't ride to the line. That was absolutely diabolical.

The best part is she never actually dropped her hands or stopped riding , she just rode out hands and heels and as such will more than likely get away with it.

Her canter position is almost identical to her "drive". Her arms get slightly more animated but that's it. Her legs remain as stiff as a willy near J lo's lips.

2, 1/2 Lengths ahead of the winner inside the final furlong more like , and the winner was being asked to quicken unlike the runner up who was just being pushed out hands and heels.

You can't be too harsh on amateur jockeys,they are amateurs, and as such mistakes occur.

No idea how she is still riding, useless is being incredibly kind to her.

She should have more respect for herself if shes riding this bad . But jockeys ride for themselves and have never given a fcuk about punters.

It's a hobby, why would anyone give it up
