I'm no fan of Robbie Dunne but I suspect he has paid a heavy price for his misdeeds. Hopefully he has learnt a lesson and should now be allowed to try to earn a living though I suspect it will not be easy.

I would say that happens often Whippin. There was a pro jockey elbowed another off his horse t'other day. You see it?

I did see it, probably overdid the elbow a bit.

Never forget these pros especially jump jockeys are NOT colleagues. They are the opposite. Food on the table to feed their families etc, we know the drill.
They'll do anything they can get away with to win.

You can’t do false accusations and go to court….too many witnesses (with credit) involved….it goes on in all walk…but you have to admit if a person drops the towel in front of the Mrs…you wouldn’t be buying him a Newcastle brown ale…imv..

Now that the dust has settled, it is very interesting to note where both Mr Robbie Dunne and Miss Bryony Frost are in their respective careers at this moment in time

There are only 29 jockeys who have ridden 30 or more winners this season and 58 who have ridden between 29 and 10 winners. I think its tough for a lot of jockeys with not enough horses to ride for little prize money, which is maybe why Bryony is looking at France to ride, where I believe she would get a 5lb allowance.

Hasn't done any of them much good really although it will probably be next season before we get a better perspective.

On those figures, Bryony has lost a lot of rides but Robbie is unscathed. A look at wins and percentages confirms that Bryony is the better riding groom of the pair.

Could be that she is riding better horses Ramruna.

G Hall -- That is a good point. Yes, it could be that Bryony is riding better horses. And it could also be she is riding better horses because she is a better rider. It is also possible that she is riding in better races, which are more competitive and therefore harder to win.

If someone can think of an easy analysis we can run... But it must be easy because I do not really care enough to spend hours deep in Raceform Interactive. It's not as if the ride on Constitution Hill is up for grabs.
