Amazing price - 1.23/24, won by miles!
By:
Agree backed 2nd but keeps it for me.
By:
Has to go... imo
By:
May be riding ban for winner, but can't change result under the rules.
By:
Almost pushed over the fricking rail!!!
By:
If the fptp had kept straight the runner up could have won. I think it would have
Hopefully we are past the days of winning distance being a consideration |
By:
Was coming to win race!
By:
That's not the question though emit, it's whether they would be sure the other would have won, not a chance.
By:
Murdered him. 2nd coming with winning run. Never got going again. Jockey done nothing to stop the carnage. Think it goes in my opinion.
By:
I don't think that's right stu, is it?
Don't think the "have to be sure" bit is part of the criteria? It used to be |
By:
The winner pulled out more again near finish though - totally no way they can know.
By:
winner was heading to rail about 1L clear when 2nd decided to go up inside..2nd would certainly have went close but if the stewards disq a horse thats won 3L without it being dangerous i'll be amazed.
By:
winner looked like he pulled out extra because he just stopped the finishing like a rockets seconds run...
By:
Argument that the 2nd didn't have enough gap to aim at, so both partly to blame.

By:
You don't have to be certain, you just have to think it's probable 2nd would have won. I think he probably would have and that the FPTP is definitely to blame for the interference, but I don't really expect it to be turned around.
By:
the way the winner picked up and finish strongly makes you think he was probably idling a bit in front . i'd say he'd have won anyway but there is certainly too much doubt to change this
By:
Yep, even during race my first thought was theres not enough space for the rail run, should have pulled round it as the winner was in front at the time of hanging.
By:
Hushwing is correct.
By:
if he'd knocked him over the rail the winning distance would've been about 200 yards, so impossible to throw out ??
By:
Head on showed plenty of room...
By:
Lowest 2nd went in running was 1.9 if stewards turn this around I wouldn't ever bet on one again.
By:
The winner was 3 horse widths off the rail before crossing. I don't know what the jockey on the second is expected to do if he can't take that gap. After all if you go wide the horse in front can also hang wide across you.
By:
Was on his quarters and closing fast!
By:
2nd would have won. Looks like 1st picked up but that's because 2nd was halted. Only way winner keeps is if Jockey gets an Oscar.
By:
He only hit 1.9 but if you look at the chart he may have hit that at the exact moment the interference happened, therefore a probable winner.
By:
I'm green both of these (laid the jolly) but amazed if winner loses it.
By:
Laid Train Hill I meant.

By:
Blimey, I am amazed. Don't see how that could be changed, but they make rules up as they go along.
2nd was a possible winner, but not enough to change it. |
By:
2 3/4 LENGTHS. WOW
By:
if the stewards disq a horse thats won 3L without it being dangerous i'll be amazed.
Rico, serious question kid. are you definitely a "pro-gambler" ? you're fackin hopeless man ![]() |
