Filling pops out and get infected and painful but ive found a cure these last few years, sell it in the pound shop,home bargains ect, antiseptic mouthwash not the listerine type mouthwah to weak ,this has chlorhexdine in it and keep washing with it kills the infection after a few days also good for sore gums for you false teeth coffin dodgers, costs around 2 quid but to get rid of toothache is worth any money and as getting a dentist is hard saves a fortune as well but it does work

I always thought that it was oil of cloves that was recommended for toothache?

Orajel extra strength or anything with 20% Benzocaine - Boots sell the 10% version off the shelf but they keep the 20% behind the counter and will sell it to you if you ask for it.

None of the above will not cure pulpitis. Be careful with oil of cloves as it can irritate the gums.And I should know as in a previous life I was a consultant Oral Sturgeon. Just make sure your dentist doesn't belong to a union otherwise it could be "One out all out!"

Took 4 days swilling but toothache now gone also had root canal caused me grief and that was cured as well
