I have only one word for that.
Hmmm. |

100 yards from the last you'd expect the pilot to be throwing the kitchen sink at it, not nudge it along rather gently.

let's face it, it was bent but expect the stewards to do nothing. Maybe Josh Moore had a treble and this was the last leg after City in the football and Taylor in the boxing.

2 stablev runners in 3 horse race ridden by 2 brothers sons of trainer against a 66 rag and still manage to make it look bent
|
|
By:
? So how do you induce a horse to fluff its jumps at four separate hurdles?
|
|
By:
And, of course, the gurning, giggling idiots on Sky Sports Racing wouldn't dare question the integrity of the ride.

Ask it nicely Honcho
|

By:
Can't ask it any nicer. Serious question. The horse was all at sea over these hurdles which was surely the biggest contributory factor to it's unimpressive win. No?

We were commenting on the second not the winner

Just tuned out, listening to Alex Hammond cream her knickers after that last race is enough to put me off my Sunday dinner.

Jockey on the second should be getting a long ban.I mean how obvious was that.

Honcho - I'd stick to Bryony Bashing if I were you. Race Reading not your thing

Not so. Post reading was the issue. Don't know how anybody can call a race bent when the odds on jolly goes in?
|
|
By:
LH - it's the "effort" on the 2nd, stablemate of the winner, that is at issue here. Whether a more rigorous ride would have seen it prevail we will never know. But that's the point.

Thanks paris - appreciated. I did watch the race but admit to not concentrating too much on the runner up who, on viewing the finish again, didn't appear to be overly exerted I agree.

Just did another good job at a big price.
