Raging how they can just dismiss this the bets totalled £100

Check your security log in and see if anyone else has logged into your a/c

Have you checked

My Account -> My Betfair Account -> My Details -> Security Settings

and checked for any odd-looking IP addresses in case your account has been compromised?

do you have 2FA enabled?

if you have a couple of ip addresses showing, search them and see if it throws up the origin / location, you should get something of use to talk to betfair about, just google ip lookup search

just check you didn't bet into the wrong race, also make sure your phone isn't missing

how can someone know my log in details

a) someone has grabbed the details from public wifi or similar

b) you have malware on your device

c) they are guessable

Shocking that support didn't freeze your account.

The 2 step gives you that second protection, elise is far more knowledgeable than me but if your account wasnt compromised then imo it was done under your log in details

if he's been done and bf didn't freeze it installing 2 step or at the very least changing passwords is a must

don't give up on it, if you can identify the dodgy ip address you might still get somewhere, push for an investigation

https://haveibeenpwned.com/

is a useful place to check if your details (many people reuse them across sites) have been publicly exposed.

I can see no reason* not to have 2FA on your account

* OK, unless you are one of the 1% who do not own a smartphone

You shouldnt be using a Betfair account without 2FA on your account. And you should NOW go and secure all your email accounts with 2FA. Plus change your passwords everywhere to something unique for each site/app
