I agree Gaze but a lot of drifters lose as well. As someone who backs and lays a lot, I do keep a close eye on the in running market and I firmly believe that on a Saturday, there are far more people willing to back the leaders and lay the ones at the back regardless of their form than on a weekday. Red Risk was a classic yesterday. BSP was 10 but once it settled in rear and on the outside it steadily drifted to 20 and higher before only shortening below 10 when it was closing on the bridle 3 out. Eldorado Allen went from 5.5 to 3.5 after leading for just 2 fences! How did that reflect his chance?

That makes sense, a flood of casual mug punters enters the market on Saturday and overbets clown favs.
|
|
By:
Thurs and Fri were both better days for laying favs than Saturday this week. Weds wasnt so good. Still a good week again though

It may not be stupidity but it is certainly baffling. Allowed went from 3.2 as they were entering the stalls to a BSP of 3.84 and despite being in position A for the whole race while Lenclume was trapped on the rail, the latter was still favourite as they turned in. The second and third had decent chances in the last furlong but Lenclume never looked remotely likely to win to my eye. Do people really bet on the advice of RTV who got that one totally wrong.

that would explain why you backed Bolshoi Ballet to win the Derby after the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial, and then came on here & BIGGED it up as if your life depended on it.
all for the sake of an 89p green up. |

Why did all of my subscribers stay for the next month? I guess they like being scammed. Or, surprise surprise, they actually like my selections. Just this month we've had a 21/1 shot lose at 1.03 and a 30/1 shot lose by a neck to another 30/1 shot. Plus there was a slew of long shot placers. Since the last long shot winner there were like 10 placers, and obviously, a 10:1 place to win ratio is impossible in the long run. This month is super bad, yet still in profit. When other services have a bad month you lose 30% of your bankroll.

FFS - have you got no dignity or self respect?
It's not like an exposure was necessary to confirm you are a deluded liar and a fraud - but now that it has been confirmed beyond all possible doubt ffs feck off and bore somebody else with your constant juvenile drivel. |

Yes,Gaze I see u paid yourself 45/1 on one of those place bets

When I get another month as good as December then idiots like TM will say it was pure luck. But when I'm on the bad side of variance, it's my fault for making mug bets.

|
By:
Tangle what's wrong with that place bet? It's not my fault some mugs are laying such prices.

Gaze,u are a guesser just like the rest of us,for starters if u were that good u wouldn’t be advertising your horse racing tips

There's a loving in your eyes all the way
If I listened to your lies, would you say I'm a man without conviction I'm a man who doesn't know? How to sell a contradiction You come and go, you come and go Comma comma comma comma chameleon You come and go, you come and go Loving would be easy if your colors were like my dreams Red gold and green, red gold and green Didn't hear your wicked words every day And you used to be so sweet, I heard you say That my love was an addiction When we cling, our love is strong When you go, you're gone forever You string along, you string along |

By:
Like all mugs and addicts - when you win it was skill and when you lose you were unlucky.
The betting world is full of deluded halfwits that would be rich if it wasn't for variance and bad luck. Happily most of them have enough dignity and self respect to keep it to themselves. |
|
By:
You want to make a bet TM? My current profit is 831 pts, if it goes to 1000+ by June, I win. According to you, it should not only not go to 1000+ but below 831 because I'm so bad and got all that profit by pure luck.
I wonder how much of your bankroll would you bet at odds 1.2 that I'll lose money by June, when true odds are probably 1.02 according to you. When it comes to putting your money where your mouth is, you wouldn't bet anything. |
|
By:
"when you win it was skill and when you lose you were unlucky."
According to you "When Gaze's horse steams by 40% and wins by 6 lengths, it was a lucky guess, when his 30/1 shot loses by a neck it was a mug bet" |

Paper trading
![]() It's why you are too scared to post pre-race - and it's why you can't stick to one thread. You are more exposed than a flasher at a nudist camp. |
|
By:
No comment about the bet? What about even odds, how much would you bet? A 1.02 shot at evens warrants an all-in bet. Would you go all-in? Ignore the long-term nature of the bet, pretend it gets resolved tomorrow so your money isn't locked it.
Also, I have posted many pre-race threads which idiots like you seem to conveniently keep forgetting. Pre-race picks by me: 100+, Pre-race picks by TM: 3? Excluding the 21 system. Who's scared to post then? I'm so sick of know-it-alls like you never posting any worthwhile bets. The lowest thing you can do on a betting forum is to criticize others' picks while not posting your own. |
|
By:
Just to correct you gaze, the lowest thing you can do, is after time and bet/account edit.
|
|
By:
I don't bet on "picks" - I bet on prices - It's why I am winning and it's why you are losing.
I have started one thread this year (solely to take the p1ss out of you) - 14 selections (about 7 of which I bet on), winners at 27.00, 13.80 & 12.50. Even when taking the p1ss, I showed you up for mug that you are with all this "picks" and "systems" nonsense! ![]() |
