It was more interesting the way it was.

I always thought they did the other way so you were not having to bet an oddson shot. now with 2 options there is an odds on shot every race. Far better the 3 or espically 4 options way.

Like the new version

Much much better the way it was. With the new system there is also reduced liquidity. Please go back to the old system

Much prefer old style with 3 or 4 options. If the plan was to increase liquidity, it hasn't worked. Please go back to old style.

I have never bet on winning distances, but this does look to be an improvement. As stated by Betfair, this brings it into line with other sports, in particular Asian Handicap (which I used to like when I did bet on football). This is something that I will be looking into, as I like bets at close to evens.

Cant have distance markets on the Irish meetings on the Exchange (yet can on the Sportsbook) and then introduce something like this? Totally out of touch with their customer base.

wher are these markets

It would be good to have these bets for races where the favourite is 6/4 or less not evens as at present. This would offer some more bets whereas some days there are very few.It doesn't matter if the favourite's odds come in or out by the time of the race as the horse's name is clearly displayed in the market name.

That said I do enjoy these markets as they offer an alternative bet when the favourite is a short price.
