Just read in the R/Post about a punter at Kempton who wanted £9,000 on a horse at 4/6 Starsports knocked him back ley would only lay him a £2,000 to £3,000 on, the they go on t/v saying they have layed this big bet and that big bet. Don't make me laugh.

openly admits to cherry-picking who he takes bets from.  if you're backing at or near the prices on here you won't last more than a handful of bets.  price insensitive mugs (5/2 ?  hang on, 4.2 on Betfair - you're on) are more than welcome.

Going back to my greyhound training days now. The best to be sure of getting on was to have an "arrangement" with a track bookie before racing. Told him how much I wanted on and was guaranteed best price shown. Worked well for both of us as you got on at the right price.

Nothing worse than someone taking your price after getting the dog ready.
