I think its been around since last summer? They need to put up a minimum guarantee win amount to get the bet off the ground. This will mean putting their hand in their pocket.

I got a message from toteplus last week saying that if you do a placepot and get knocked out in the first leg, your stake up to a tenner is refunded.
Not for everyone that but thought I'd pass that on all the same. |

isn't this just the scoop 6 but presumably picking harder races?

crucially - it's not even as good as the scoop six - no roll-overs!

On this subject does anyone remember the TV program Survivor on ITV? I quite liked it but then it got dropped!

Thanks for the heads up 1830 and slippy(always a bummer to go out on the 1st leg, so that is definitely a plus). I will give it a go, but agree with whippin.... to get it properly off the ground a minimum guarantee would help....no mention of it though in the article. I think we're all racing survivors to some extent...and to be the last one standing after say leg 4 and scoop the pot...now that's a challenge and a half that I'm willing to have go at for a bit of fun.

you'll never beat the permers, you'll never beat the permers.

There is nothing more demoralizing than getting to a meeting, get plotted up say an hour before the first to study and then go out in the first leg.
We've all done it at some stage I'm sure! |

I find going out in leg 6 takes longer to get over!

First....just one big low.....last, one big high followed by one big low....take your pick

Big high > Big Low > Depression > Prozac

The Tote Jackpot used to roll over to the Saturday years ago then if nobody had the six winners if you had the first 5 winners you won.If nobody had 5 then first 4 would win ect.I remember it being won after the first 2 legs one Champion stakes day at Newmarket.
