last 10 years

king george 9,5,10,8,5,9,10,9,9,7
kauto star 7,7,7,7,10,7,7,5,7,6
christmas hurdle 5,10,5,4,5,5,6,6,7,5

just about acceptable for the type of races they are ,however the supporting card needs looking at as does the card on the 27th.

Yes, it's often the case, but at the moment there seems a shortage of very good horses to make the races exciting. The King George is competitive, but it lacks an outstanding contender.

I didn't want Ahoy Senor to run because I don't think the race suits, but imagine if he hadn't?

Perhaps the time has come to scrap day 2 at kempton and have a 3 day festival Boxing Day kempton then two days at ascot, ascot would have to lose there pre Christmas fixture transferring some of the races to the 27/28th take 3 races from the 2 nd day of kempton the challow from Newbury and the tolworth from sundown which I realise won’t go down well with some but it would be for the good of uk racing.

I've no problem with the small fields for the G1s - the quality is there in the chases (although the Christmas Hurdle is embarrassing).

But we do need a big betting handicap for Boxing Day.

Yes we do strontium whilst juggling races around kempton could bring forward the lanzarote and the betfair or Ladbroke which ever they called it know could be carried forward to the new ascot fixture, the introduce a valuable handicap chase for the 3 rd day.

Ironic that Wincanton that struggles with field sizes at most meetings has plenty of runners on Sunday. There does seem to ba a dearth of horses ready to contest the best races at the moment, particularly novice chases. It is a result of the firm gallops in October. Trainers did not get them ready for a first run then so don't want to start off at a higher level now without experience. We will soon be hearing of more horses like Appreciate It which will stay over hurdles until next season.

Nicky henderson horse pet sanctuary. Any expensive buys from irish point to point field welcome. We even play clanead late at night to relax them for bed.

We promise to only race them once, on the flat at newmarket in october then the warm blankets come out to protect them over the harsh (sorry greta not that harsh) winter.

We will protect you also from those vicous human betting things that would abuse you

Lambourn pets open day permanently on line now. Less stress for the animals

Oh by the way owners. Still £2,000 by direct debit.okay!!!

If you aren't going to race a horse on ground described as perfect when are you ? If I owned a horse I'd run it in the G1's and hope to mop up prize money
