End of in running? Far from it, the last few weeks, it's been the fairest it's been for many a year!

the bootman seems to be flying...may have bought a 2nd hand cessna.

He is claiming that it is now a level playing field unlike 6 weeks ago .What changed ?

In my opinion it's easy when you are winning but bloody difficult when you are losing.

Rico, ask him to elaborate.

I did not say it was easy, merely it's much fairer than it has been over the summer, as more people have access to a level playing field. That is just my opinion of course.

For those asking what I meant in my tweet, feel free to read the HBF update I put up a few weeks ago.

Fairer? And you make this statement based on what exactly? Are you saying drone pics have become more affordable? Live video is as delayed and unreliable as it's been all year.

its robert controlled, guided by gps data..theres 2-£5 in every box last 3-4f if you back...5p-£2 if you lay..beaten horses theres barely a fiver over 100 matched.
but its fairer now than for many a year.Laugh

Swifty - it's just my opinion, having played RTV tracks only over the summer off BLV it was a real struggle. The last 6 weeks haven't been a cake walk, but at least I feel like I've got a fair chance now. Still plenty of pressure with PC and "other" costs that need to be added into the mix.

Steve, what has posting a P&L (No I won't be) got to do with my statement? I have played off BLV for years and now finally I have the opportunity to play using exactly the same pictures as yourself, that to me means it's fairer.

at least it will show that your p&l can back up your atatement.

In view of this latest development it would appear that Martin (aka thebootman) needs to update his HBF Members entry....

Interesting to note that another member, Colin Hord (Chair), recently retired from the Civil Aviation Authority where he was a policy lead in the Safety and Airspace Regulation Division.

the bootman, what exactly has changed for the home player? What are these 'other' costs and how may these have changed for you recently?
By:

He clearly said on his twitter that having waited years for the industry to fix their own house he went with those providing the drone pics.
He then made himself avilable if others wanted them.
What exactly is the issue?
You want the pics go see him, if you dont stop moaning.

dustybin, why didn't he say it on here then, I'm not on twitter. And why not post on herev that he's given up chasing a level playing for all, and is instead giving money to an illegal enterprise.

First off thebootman has done more for the integrity of pics than all the rest of us put together.
Secondly, those drone pics were available irresepective of whether bootman was involved or not, just fewer ppeps were using them....now I understand more are and thats perhaps his point.

If droners started sending live video from over a nudist colony it would be outlawed immediately.

Most people including myself arnt especially happy drones from the blackmarket are a reality, Im sure bootman has expressed his concern also, but the owners of the rights have got every opportunity to fix it...but they never have upto now.

You can play gooseberry while others get it on or you can menage a trois the choice is yours
While you are worrying about it all life goes on.

what is the differential here with what thebootman is doing

Exactly.

They're hardly exclusive - if you want in, you're welcome so stop carping.
