Nikki's Dream, £150K breeze-up buy, and after a promising effort last time, put in 7-4 on the RP forecast.
Sent off 6.8-1 on here, finishes last of five ![]() |

the forum 'system' nearly worked there, Lenny's Spirit, 3s on in the run.

Ouija Board MUST have trained herself. One of my all time fav horses and I'm now thinking you can mark up ALL of her performances. I now think she was better than Enable.

A line through Tasman Bay & Fancy Man shows that John Leeper should be competitive in G2s at the very least. Now it looks like that horse would struggle to win a handicap.

To be fair to Ed, OB was given some miserable rides by some of the so called "best" jockeys around.

From Hugh's column today, 6 winners from 183 runners

The worst trainer going.
Snow fairy is in my Top 10 favs of all time. Like a poster said. Musta trained hersel You could add B.Meehan M.Bell Bin Suroor Into past G1 level trainers who now you wouldn’t trust to keep a stray cat fit and healthy. Ed takes the cake tho. Absolutely diabolical trainer |

By:
I noticed a lot of his cast offs do ok admittedly at a lower level

Hugh calls it a "moderate strike rate" I would it call it something else! Paul, must be the most loyal and understanding owner in the game.
By:
Useless trainer and also very arrogant.

Here we go, under achieving combo trainer/jockey go off strong fav. What can possibly go wrong?

Nothing because the system always works.

seems to have hit a rich vein of form. Is Bob Baffert over for a working holiday?

Getting taken off the shadwell roster must have been some kick up the arris

Paul Turner
Last 14 days Wins:6 Runs:20 (30%) it was worth waiting for (nap) |
By:
they certainly have a bunch of very well handicapped stoutly bred types . Some nice middle distance handicappers if the trainer can get them fit !
By:
To be fair, his horses are running really well at present.....has he taken on a new assistant trainer?

he's got them fit and running well but its because of the poor efforts last year they're so well handicapped. These are generally expensive blue bloods running in 0-70 handicaps
By:
2 more dire performances and a string of poor results. Its worth remember these are decent pedigrees , expensive purchases fiddling around in 0-60 handicaps.
Paul its time to jump ship |
By:
I was thinking other day , surely Anamoine are getting tempted to see what Lyons or Harrington can do with John Leeper . There's still chance
By:
Not Paul Turner I know, but what on earth is he doing with John Leeper?

.beat me to it,Hushwing |

By:
its unlikely because of loyalty but they owe it to the horse to see if there's a stallion in there.I'm sure Ger would pick up a little Group race with him. |
By:
It would be the ultimate embarrassment to have him taken away bearing the naming of the horse and the owner's history with the family
By:
Should have been named Leeper the Bankrupt
By:
I agree they are disappointing recently but 8 winners from 28 runners and 13 wins from 109 runs in 2022 is not a total disaster. Why a new owner would put 28 horses with one trainer is beyond me.
By:
sageform agree numbers wise but its because of his poor efforts to train them to fulfill their full potential last season , that they've just fallen into grades they're naturally competitive in.
