That was unlucky. Seemed to be struggling and Tom Marquand did well to nearly snatch it. Beaten on the nod. Cry

Head was coming back down just before the line. Unlucky.

Unlucky? He was under-pressure 2f out. Maybe learn to quicken in a straight line may help. Definitely over-rated. Another year of no outstanding sprinters.

Unlucky in the sense that when it`s head comes back down in a second, it wins.

Horsey Usain Bolt equivalent that was poor just an average horse ran an average race nothing special about that didn't stable have a derby contender they said same thing about.

Think you could be right davy. Certainly a stiff 6. Funnily enough although he likes good or better  ground it was likely too quick. bettysboy  they said course record on one of the tv channels. I see it was 1.70 below standard. Maybe a time expert can confirm.

He was in the wrong place, and behind winner who was also going comfortably; winner quickened in a straight line. One thing for sure Starman is a good horse, superstar star he's not; a mediocre bunch of sprinters not fit to rub shoulders with Soba, Habibti, Dayjur or even Caravaggio and Harry Angel.

I think the winner was better than the result
He went for home quite early for a sprint.
Held on to a bit longer and EA would rep value in a rematch against the "unlucky" runner-up imo
