6.35 - Probably the most competitive race on the card and you could go a number of ways. I've split a 1pt on KINGSHOLM (given very interesting rides the last twice) & Saluti (shown his best form at the course and was unlucky LTO)

Anyone have any thoughts or selections for the card?

Im probably being bitter as I could decide which one was Saluti and which one was Spoof, so ended up too slow, still it's just an unnecessary chore.

Crownthorpe runs well here (1 Wn & 2 2nds/4-unseated the other one).
McCaine takes off a handy 5LB aswell (Won off 87 @South'll & 83 C&D,jocks claims taken off)
Runs off 81 with the claim in this was also 2nd here(84)C&D 2 runs back, btn 3/4L.
Should run well tonight if reproducing course form.
11s on here & 7/8s with the books.

Yeah, good stuff Penzance. I noticed the course angle with Crownthorpe. Very weak in the market at the moment but I wouldn't be surprised to see the money come in late for it.

7.25 Dulas for me. Course winner. Yard in form. Jockey good value for claim. Form in higher class.

Yeah 1 from 1 at the course Ram. I don't have a strong opinion in this one but Woven and your one could be the way to go. The problem with Woven is he runs well but has an allergy to winning at present. French Rain looks on a fair mark too. Trappy race.

Echo Beach. Didn't see that coming. What I call an "is what it is" horse, rather than one I think might be better or worse than expected.

Time to step in for my second bet of the evening. I've split a 1pt between Tenbury Wells (Running into form and looks like there is more to come) & Crownthopre (A reproduction of any of his previous 3 completed Newcastle runs would see him go very close)

Flying High in 7.55, dropping down from listed class last time, (won by John Leeper), 2x course and distance. 13/2 win and place.

7.55 Laura Pearson again on Smash Hit, though so far he's making a habit of getting placed.

Flyin' High under Hayley Turner? Last in a listed race but if connections think he is Listed class, he is well-in.

i must admit that although the team racing is competitive, the change of colours is frustrating. I have to look back to previous runs to see the normal colours as I am a firm believer that owners are a big factor in racing. Bonneval was from Fittocks Stud owned by the Cumani family for instance. I still didn't back it.

I think it's really good.. a fun event.. I'm following Team Lotto..

I do think it's wrong when a horse is withdrawn there is no reserve. If that's not practical then some points should be given to the Team that did not get a run.

I don't agree with jockeys opting out to ride elsewhere... H Doyle is at Goodwood so Jack Mitchell gets all the rides.. that doesn't seem right to me..

Some of the Team Managers really shouldn't be involved,, they could surely have found better in some cases..

I like the camera angles and Enzo's commentaries..  all very good so far..

Chinned by Roscioli. Hayley Turner, who I backed in the previous race, like the Two Ronnies Mastermind sketch.

Not getting the team part but, like the Shergar Cup, if you ignore the parts you don't understand or like, it's a cracking card.

The last 2 Andrew Balding horses tonight were any price you like so I expect the last one will win as well now! A maiden winning a 0-90 handicap but he had been dropped 5lb.

Yeah, just an OK run LTO but they did run it in a G3 as 2yo. So maybe it shows more at home than the racecourse until tonight. I still couldn't have found it though!
