Are we sure he is Dave Nevison because he used to claim on here he was just an old aquaintance of his and went racing with him.

D Nevison worked in the City before embarking on the horse racing project.
In the early days, he used to buy horses out of sellers, and put them with his trainer who improved them,
and then sold them on.
Now has a cosy studio job plus the occasional outside broadcast with RTV, so probably not short.
Interesting snippet when in the studio the other day, when he explained that the firm he worked for in the
City were instrumental in the design /construction of Randwick racecourse in Oz.
