agree with your last statement rico but I am more puzzled every week by the late moves. Is it market manipulation or are the serious players all holding off until the last 2 minutes before a race? The non exchange prices don't move as much. Two recent examples. Fearby was showing at around 10 in the morning but as I was away on holiday and could not be around a computer I decided on Betfair SP. I managed to look at the market about half an hour before the race and it was 16. Betfair SP was 9. Frankella was 13 five minutes from the off yesterday and drifted to 34! If all of the late moves gave a guide to the result it might make more sense but they don't.
