Hi all,
Hope everyone agrees its been a great comp so far, incredibly we have had a full house of entries every day, no no-shows, well done all, the comp has been played in great spirit.
A special thanks to Lucky Luciano with his gesture to allow his opponent to advance after an uncovered r4 incidient which could have been ruled either way.
Today there was 4 left, hopefully nobody was left unprepared after the deluge of! rain this morning.
Norfolk Mafia went to battle with a steady start, he ended with a more than respectable total of 107.5, Deptford his opponent however was on fire and landed 297.5 points and secures his place in the final, Norfolk can consider himself unlucky to reach treble figures and be eliminated, his agent has been contacted and he confirmed Norfolk would not be happy to contest a 3rd place playoff!
The other tie was grindy and in the end Stocks with a single winner is securely into the final, well done to him, surely his stock will have risen with team captains of the team comps! Commiserations to Crystal Hunt, he has performed well throughout the comp but today it wasnt his day.

Very best of luck Deptford and Stocks,good work again swads,hope to be back sometime in future so keep a place warm for me.
Not sure when next comp will run, possibly Goodwood, if we get enough interest...this one had around 50 people maybe we can get the magic 64 runners.
I enjoy doing the admin side of the comp but just an idea if we get 64 runners, first couple of rounds can just be self scored, IE you get drawn against your opponent and after the days racing the winner just declares that they are into the next round, obvs any disputes we could just settle but would save quite a bit of time!
