Someone was asking about trust and jockeys. I wouldn't trust any of them. That was good example. King Of Gold should have won and punters should have collected on a rare good thing in a rubbish week, but the jock on the favourite has got outridden and turned a 1/2 length win into a nose defeat and a 10/1 winner. It happens far too often.

yep agree but also kingscote would not have won on that .
winner was the value bet in the race, showcasing has had 7 x 2yo winners from 20 runners not including todays winner and 3 of them have won fto recently, although the winner had the best form, cant be sure when theirs well bred horses having a debut run. speed on both sides of that winners pedigree , havent seen the race, cant comment on the ride.
