Very game at St Cloud and I noticed Simon Rowlands on ATR's website agrees with you. Good luck, Mac

With the favourite so short opposing it is has appeal. Gear up was beaten in a Gp 2 which has been one of the best Derby trials. A long trip South tends to suggest he will be trying which is all you can expect. i'm with you with a little tickle

Backed it on here a few weeks ago, average price about 110. Also ew 66/1 with 365 after 5 day decs. Fancied it a bit since the Dante. Good draw, will stay, wont mind the ground and expecting it to be ridden a bit closer to the pace today. Glad to see a smaller field than I was anticipating and change of ground too. Fingers crossed for a good run. Will back Hurricane Run to cover the outlay. Good Luck.

backed gear up a while ago at 100 on here, m johnston not done his usual thing and run him lots of times before today, today being the only plan with the prep run at york, ground and trip should see some improvement.

Think it’s the best outsider, for sure, though think the favourite is pretty solid on this season’s form. Only negative is that the stable are suggesting that the Leger is the long term target. Johnson does have the capacity to surprise and you’d hope the horse is fully tuned up.

Agree with opening poster, he is the value price, I doubt he will prove good enough to win, but he looks a terrific place option.

Gear Up is one of only two G1 winners in the field, but has to overcome the nightmare Dante Stakes stat.
