Surely they shouldn't be able to do that as your money in betfair account is supposed to be ring fenced to keep it secure, even from betfair themselves.

Hope the staff havent treated themselves to the new prize out feature.

just phoned them yes, they are a joint company, Betfair and paddy power. Its all about google or windows Microsoft 10

By:
Everything in"place" ok.

just phoned them yes, they are a joint company, Betfair and paddy power
you needed to call them to find that out ? |

i thought that the OP meant that his betfair funds were taken out to cover perhaps debts with p power,
By:
What *does* the OP mean by "money being taken out on my betfair account from paddy power bookmakers"?
It surely cannot be what it reads as or this place would be alight? |

just phoned them yes -------------------- Don't believe that for a second ..... Nobody has been able to - "just phone them" - for years. ![]() ![]() More like 'smart'punter has maybe got Accounts with both companies ... and got his Bets Mixed up.... then just jumped on here .... as they do. |
By:
might have rung Patsy's,they were the ones
who he said took the money. |
By:
See your observation - BUT ...
He also posted ... smartpunter 01 Jun 21 08:55 ... Its all about google or windows Microsoft 10 ---------- More potential Nonsense.... or 'Customer service' Claptrap- from Patsy's - If he has phoned them. If it were - "all aboutgoogle or windows Microsoft 10" ... then surely ... It would be affecting - EVERYBODY. ![]() ----------------- This whole scenario makes NO sense whatsoever. 'Digging deeper holes' ... springs to mind. |

unless he means that deposit paid into betfair through the bank, shows up as p power?, i deposit money into daq, and that shows up on statements something completly different ,
By:
@elisjoh
I was thinking that or the same thing but with withdrawals. Either way I don't get how that counts as a "problem" in "Anybody had the same problem?" unless he is trying to use his bank account statement to work out his per-bookie P&L and doesn't want PP & BF confused? |
By:
this month i have deposited two £50 amounts into betfair , which shows up on my mini statement as going to betfair { as usual) however i have also withdrawn £ 250 and £100 . which appears on the same mini statement as paddy power.this is the first time its happened , and as i realise paddy power and betfair are partners, and more importantly my winnings landed in my bank, im not that bothered. however as ive never ever had a paddy power account , i feel betfair customers should have been informed. the only good news is that betfair used to pay out in 2-5 days , but now its only 4 hours.
By:
Last time i withdrew from Betfair it was practically instant , 2 hours at most.
By:
I would guess that flutter (parent of both bf and pp and skybet etc) has merged its deposit/withdrawal departments. Shouldn't really be giving incorrect info re source of money to cuctomers bank tho.
By:
Who is this Paddy Power they speak of?
By:
Withdraw from Betfair and it's less than 2 minutes in bank
By:
I ask myself the same question sparrow....
I carried out various hedge deals with them in the noughties , it was a 2-way thing. When i left work they immediately zeroed my account ![]() |
By:
Spot on duffy , i only said max 2 hours because i'd never actually bothered to check quick enough
By:
I trust you had some glue to hand, hayden.

the actual answer is, it is in your bank within 1 second. I've tested this (not very often unfortunately!)
By:
any amount?
By:
500 gone through, never try more in case it goes walkies for 3-5 days, although other times it generally goes next day.
By:
I think it is up to a £1000. I've certainly withdrawn a £1000 an it's always there by the time I check minute or so later
