Went through all the songs a couple of weeks ago in about ten minutes. Amazingly, it keeps on getting worse. It's just become a gay fest of mediocrity. Sad. I preferred it when you used to win with about thirty points and viewers had nothing to do with the voting. Those were the days.

In another poor year, I've got 2 against the field. The girl who sings for Bulgaria is very relevant and reminds me of Billie Eilish and she's my 2nd choice but the class act for me is Iceland. I don't like the presentation much and the price probably reflects that but the song is not bad.

the annual cash cow of laying UK to finish top 3 at 3.55 appears to be long gone. we're now about those odds to finish last, which is a lot more realistic. nobody votes for the uk, no matter what the song sounds like. if we had to qualify, we wouldn't.
