This young lady is thought of very highly for the trainers she has ridden for and I think we should keep a very very close eye on her mounts this summer.

As you know I have a mate who is involved in the McConnell yard and they say about this young girl

She treats the horses very kindly during the race and they respond quite kindly to her at the business end.

I stuck her in the tipping section for the lads at 33s e/w on Sunday on only what I had heard about her and she won easily, really only hoping for the place so the win was a huge bonus.

Anything I hear from that yard will go in this thread.

she did very well on a horse called kudbegood who is a bit tricky around dundalk over the winter i would have no problem backing a horse ridden by her.

For the outsider very difficult to assess as she is for most part finishing down the track on big priced outsiders. I don't follow Dundalk, but I wouldn't have thought that the stables she mentioned would give her many fancied rides.

For most people Martin is just someone who lands the occasional touch. He isn't O'Brien (x3), Lyons, Harrington, Bolger, Weld etc. There are not a lot of young trainers in Ireland similar to Archie Watson who was willing to give Hollie Doyle a big chance.

Nearly 18 months on, decent day today, but is she still progressing? Still seems to riding poor horses for the same stables, mostly at big odds.

Can't hit the target if you don't get the ammo. Tough for young jocks -especially female- only a few can get lucky enough to make a breakthrough. Talent/ability  is necessary but not sufficient. Then again probably the same in all walks of life.

Just rode out her claim.

Orders rider (as per usual especially in Ireland) - still never understand the obsession of the RP with writing articles about jockeys.

A few people were going on about her 2 or so years ago.
