I'm going to punt a few for small money . Run Wild Fred has a lovely weight , Salsaretta a lovely big mare who can jump and just might have the race run to suit.Ten Ten ran a cracker at Naas last time and J.P. loves winning this..Sempo is my Bismark a small horse and can't see him finishing .

Chopstick, It has a chance and is very rarely out of the placings , my concern is the sire Network, they seem to need heavy going to be at their best . We have had some really good weather the last few days and I think the ground will not suit ...

FITZHENRY for me, any number of decent runs without winning in the last few years, back down to the same mark he was on when just getting toucked off in the famous Roooaarriinngg Bull's PP Chase. Decent running on 3rd last time in the Leinster national and has run OK on better ground in the past, reckon he'll travel well through this extended trip and here's hoping he gets home. 28/1 E/W

Duffy Fitz is the bane of my betting life , if in the mood will win no doubt sadly its very rare for him to put his best foot forward at the latter end of races...

In this type of race I like to find a horse which has never run over a marathon distance but whose pedigree suggests improvement for being stepped up in trip. For me, the one who ticks this box massively is Eurobot. 7 years old, only run 8 times and never gone beyond 3m 1f, but the pedigree absolutely screams stamina as he is by Malinas (sire of Edinburgh National winner Mighty Thunder, amongst other strong staying types) and the dam is L'Aventure, who was 2nd in a Midlands National and won a Scottish Borders National and Welsh National. It would appear I am not the only one to have noticed, as Eurobot is shortening on here, but I did manage to get some 40/1 (5 places) and that will do for me.
