That one came into my calculations but I think my selection is better weighted. This is a race I usually swerve but spent half a hour going through the form so I have to have a bet albeit torture at the moment even to get matched for a tenner. The plan is W/P but if backed it might be win only.

Apologies Dep. I never noticed the place only. I thought you were on the win. My mistake but that's a wee bit of a bugger. But a return is a return.

I've learned my lesson in the past, never bet place only when odds are under 50/1. Logic tells you that at least one horse in the big field will probably beat your long shot but if it's good value you gotta bet e/w.

E.g I backed Drealdeal to place only because He drifted from 5 to 30, of course he bolted up.

My logic was, £30 quid bet on race, either £10 win @10s and £20 @3.5 place at the time. So £150 against against £75 at the time, ended up avg 3.65,so not to shabby.
