They've been doing this placepot insurance thing, on the odd meeting for a few weeks, whereby you get your stake refunded, up to 10 quid, if you go out in the first.
Fair enough, obvious thing to do is take a chance on a decent price one in the first and hope favs are out
So, could work in 8 runner supreme novices hurdle tomorrow
However, they have just opened the pools for tomorrow, which is unusually early, and to qualify for the offer you must place your placepot before 1159 pm tonight!!!
Very small percentage of the pot likely to be in by then I would guess

Im in Reg for £9, Ballyadam only selection in the first.
Had a go Saturday at Sandown, out on the first leg as i did volkova in the 4 horse race then went all the way through, 3 rumming for me in the last luckily they all failed to place, was a big pot as well. |

Why would a horse trading at 20/1 generally in the Ultima be only 6/1 with the Tote? Genuinely don't get this.... |

mcgoldrick I have just checked the win pool for the 1st race tomorrow and there is only just over £1000 in the pool so someone puts say a £100 on Admirals Secret it will create a lopsided price which will almost certainly have changed to either starting price or probably bigger by the time the race goes of tomorrow.

Just checked, 14 grand in the pool, so maybe 15 or 16 grand max before midnight
Would expect tomorrow pool total to be 300k plus, just guessing cos no shop or track money So about 5% to benefit from the offer Ibrahim, baldy not owned the t0te for over a year |
