The money is down this time as well as Bullion Boss has been backed into favouritism. Good luck. He is probably the best horse in the race but I'd rather see him on faster ground at a shorter trip going the other way round. The question is whether I am right that the mistakes came from tiredness in the conditions, or connections are right that he was forced to go slightly too fast at the shorter trip. |

Fire Away's previous, not very good trainer is Daragh Bourke, who by an uncanny coincidence trains the last leg, Gallahers Cross. |

At the request of the Integrity Department of the British Horseracing Authority, the connections of FIRE AWAY (IRE) were interviewed by the Stewards before this race and asked to provide information regarding the selection of the race for the gelding, their expectations for today and the riding instructions given. At what price does Bullion Boss become value? Should we take the 7/2 which would have seemed generous this morning?

Bullion Boss never sighted as the gamble came unstuck.

Didn’t even try an ounce to put the horse in to the race today. |

Absolute non Trier, just like the other two second favs in the other two races. These need investigating as much as the two winners.
