Dubai trips - essential work I guess sending a weekly person to chat for a few mins each race - surely could be done from studio and they employ someone locally if the racecourse wants someone
Annual jolly up for Stanley & co,although i'm guessing Dubai sponsor them for the exposure, publicity etc. The only surprise is Nevo hasn't got a ticket on the plane yet, although last time I saw him on screen doubt they'd let him in!

That would be a start Jimnast but i'm not over optimistic to say the least, going to miss Cheltenham bigtime this year, love the whole week, its not just the racing or business either, its meeting up with people and the whole buzz,i get that most of the winning owners will be big hitters but to me apart from the confirmation you've got a very good horse everything else will be lost without a crowd for winning connections,as i said earlier the Ebor meeting was like a morgue.

a quick one if you had chance to go to the festival with a crowd of 2000 would you go for the 4 days and not as a bookmaker.
hope you are well

Ronnie.

Hi Ronnie, talked with the wife about that, probably not (we are members),as i say was at York and it just didn't feel right,2k spectators would make a difference obviously but you'll have a bloody mask on all day, being told "you can't go there etc",not many facilities open, also what will be open at night wherever you're staying? However i think we're talking hypothetically here as I don't think there will be any spectators.

yes its going to be very hard not having a proper cheltenham this year even typing this it hurts,a lot of the people we meet up with wont have many festivals left,i have not completely given up on a reasonable crowd at aintree although its unlikely, they said a long time ago nhs workers were been allowed free tickets for the thursday so that might be a little plus along with it been after easter i was hoping 50% for the vase meeting but it is hope more than confidence.
