At 8.25 a.m. today, the Radio 4 Today programme will be reviewing the performance of its daily horseracing tips for 2020. Never quite sure who comes up with their selections - usually two a day during the sports slot. I'm sure I read somewhere it was Luke Harvey! I've always relied on the tips to pay for my TV Licence. Very good laying fodder.

You will have to find another so called tipster as the Radio4 person came up £21 short of your licence fee at £136.

The 40% wasn't ROI ! The level stake losses were over £100.
Maybe they meant you'd have lost 60p in every £1 staked.
I did think it was strange that tips given out on Radio 4 were profitable.

I think the 40% is from (116 + 81)/473 approx. That is, bet ew 40% of the bets produced some return.
