I did not have OP's problem but it did have trouble rendering the menu to log out.

Thanks for the response, appreciated. I have identified the issue, which required an Firefox extension to be disabled. As I have been using the extension for years I assume it is something Bet 365 have done on their website over the weekend.

Probably iffy on all browsers. Adguard has started blocking it on my lappy. If I get on the site through oddschecker, the banking page won't load. All works ok on the mobile if anyone needs to take money out.

Why use FF btw? It was my browser of choice 5 years ago but I have long since abandoned it for Chrome. And some sites work better in Edge since they ditched teh MS rendering engine in favour of Chromium.

@Storm Alert -- maybe consider emailing Bet365 with the name of the extension.

I'm having the same issue mate, site won't load, fine in IE. What extensions have you got installed? I've just tried there with Safe Mode - all extensions disabled - and it works fine. My guess is it's AdBlock Plus and probably a default setting blocking stuff. I have a few other add-ons installed but mostly niche stuff so that's probably the one we both have,

Sorry, skipped your second reply. Is it Adblock then?

Yes Adblock Plus. If you disable the extension the problem goes away. I have it installed for years without problem as it does help reduce advertising; in my case especially relevant to the the Racing Post site and YouTube videos. I have emailed Bet365 customer service (no reply) and temporarily removed Adblock plus and advised them of the problem in the feedback option.
My PC was updated on patch Tue, Adblock plus updated mid Nov, Firefox to v83.0 about a week ago. However my guess is Bet365 has done something to the website (maybe a new script) as the issue occurred for the first time over the weekend. If there are enough complaints hopefully it will be looked at. |

I assume it has triggered many ad blockers, Adguard will let you onto the site after a warning, but won't let the banking page load at all. You see a bit of a ghost' page opening and it disappears.

saddo interesting that Adguard is also having problems with the site. Bet365 is a very busy site, user live bets top right, video streaming of various live sports bottom left etc. Website I believe is still HTML5 (Typescript for mobile) and I suspect a new script is running which the blockers don't work well with.
I have taken your advise and trying out new Edge (which is based on Chrome). Will need to do something about all the adds on the Racing Post site; across the top and down the right-hand side. What a mess and must be slowing the whole site down. |

Ok will do thanks. I have been playing around with Firefox and it is a lot better, with the right settings, at blocking intrusive adverts nowadays.
Got a response from Bet365 customer service who basically told me it was internet provider issue and I should contact them or use an alternative browser. Totally ignoring the Adblock plus element. So not going to get much joy there! Still at least they replied. |

Yeah, that's nonsense. Maybe worth reaching out to the Adblock makers instead? My only advice for now would be to disable extensions in Incognito mode and run Bet365 in an incognito window. I agree that Firefox is the best browser around and I don't intend on ditching it because of issues with one site.

Response from Adblock plus:
Thank you for reporting. I was able to reproduce the issue here as well. I am forwarding this to our filters team so they can test it out. Thanks, ABP Support Team eyeo GmbH Lichtstraße 25 50852 Cologne, Germany |
