I get your drift GEORGE. There's another TV show that I vaguely remember. Too PC to mention but my parents had a black and white TV at the time.

What was the name of the Bookies plant, who defended them at every turn on here against efforts to introduce minimum stakes. I remember him vainly trying to appear as a casual and objective observer on the issue - a task which proved way beyond his thinking and communication skills. I would love to know what happened to him. I sincerely hope he failed a plumbing training course at his local tech.

I know who you mean blackbarn but the name escapes me. A pure cant of the highest order. Perhaps somebody who's been on here will remember his 'nomdeplume' (spelling)

The good old days, when threads containing useful info were deliberately sabotaged, when so-called banter between old pals hijacked useful threads, when insiders were hounded off for giving the game away too cheaply.

Not to mention the pearl-clutching when a gay or lesbian presenter got on the telly, or an attractive woman. The way posters reacted you'd think tv stars regularly leapt out the back of the telly to give them a good seeing-to over the kitchen table.

Anybody remember Amanda Huginkiss? He was a top bloke. Done well in running but got tired of the forum. I used to keep in touch with him. He was part time but was thinking of packing his job in to see how things went.

Banks and then Banned Banks was a Bookmaker apologist. I believe he was linked with the Gambling Commission in some way. A hideous individual I recall.
