If had been riding his mount out and hadn't sh1t himself late on when the runner up challenged he would still have won

I agree with grayhawk.

They've obviously lumped on as per the betting so I'd say a few burnt fingers. Jacob seemed to panic when the other one came, obviously wasn't expecting it.

did Micky tell Johnson Wisteriarose was a slow boat before he travelled the length of the country in the middle of a pandemic just to sit on it for 10 minutes ...

No finer example of why Paul Nicholls sacked him.

Did you not see that the horse clearly 'jinked' to the right? Jacob did well to stay in the saddle.

Horse jinked ..not a lot he could do correct..just pocket talking. |

liggy, I did not. Makes no difference to what happened either way. You'll very rarely see me moan after backing a loser.

Never saw the race so can't comment on this particular race but if I owned the FAV for the Gold Cup he would be first in line to ride it. Some hellish pilots going about and at least Jacob can present a horse at a fence and a very good judge of pace. Add to that he can get stuck in in a tight finish.
As for Nicholls, apart from Ruby he's hired some dismal pilots. Nicholls loss imo. |
