i attended this meeting at Wexford about 15 years ago
was a dreadful card today that was a reasonable race plus Andy Dufresne in the next |

By:
I thought this was a decent bet, put it up on my lay thread earlier

Very pleasing return.

I presume the Ryanair will be the target this season?

Nice little spin for a return. We didn't learn much, did we? Can't have him for Gold Cup. Happily look elsewhere.
By:
didnt back it ,won well but lets not get carried away !

Jumped and won really well, but Wexford fences are not so stiff. As already stated we didn't learn much, there will be better races ahead and he's still a novice. The Ladbroke Champion chase is too soon, and the Drinmore too short a trip, so i guess it could be the Savilles Chase at Leopardstown next.
I noticed he was 11 on here for the GC, that is too short in my opinion. |

next target will probably be next month
a GD2 @Navan,the Bv Chse. |
By:
Penzance, not sure which race you mean. If he was going G2 then maybe the Florida Pearl, but that's at Punchestown.
By:
perhaps it's a new name for the Fortria Chse?
By:
OK thanks Penzance
By:
looks like there's also a new GD2 intermediate Chse
on the 22nd. Over what trip,I don't know. |
By:
some of the Irish lads might Know about this new
chase,De Bromhead must be on about that, unless they're dropping back to 2M? |
By:
Don't think he'll get a truly run Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Ryanair would be the more sensible option. Like Monalee and Allaho too.
By:
Minella Indo next race may be at Navan nov 22.Its the betvictor chase over 3 miles 36000 to the winner. Not so sure about being a gold cup winner. Will be a English horse for the gold cup this year I say

i thought he put up a really good performance today his jumping was very good and giving weight and a proper beating to a decent horse who had ,had a run made it even better.
sam certainly agree about allaho and thought last year the ryanair before hand for monalee but after his gold cup run which surprised me that should be his target again. |
By:
fortria is over 2 miles as stiff a test as navan is i would be surprised if he ran in that grade 2.
By:
Like Jimnast said decent run in a fair time giving weight, connections must be well pleased with that. I would go Ryanair myself but what do I know. Looks like it's going to be a good campaign whatever they decide.
