yes you'd think if he doesn't get the photo he gets it in the stewards' room which should affect photo betting

Winner thrown out and jockey asked to self isolate for at least 14 days, imho.

major snugfit won a nose & about 1/20 to lose this imo

Young H Bannister was lucky there was a horse on the outside of him there, could of been really serious there.

Major Snugfit won the photo and was first past the post

At 9-10s, he is won of the longest priced winners, I've ever seen, to lose the race

Poor ole Snugfit.

The horse did not appear to hang away from the jockey's chosen path. Quite the contrary, the jockey looked like he wanted the stands rail and was riding in that direction.

Permission was given for MAJOR SNUGFIT to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following interference after jumping the second last hurdle, involving the winner, MAJOR SNUGFIT, ridden by Nathan Moscrop, ZAMARKHAN (FR), placed second, ridden by Ryan Mania, JUST MARVIN (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Harry Bannister and IMPERIAL FOCUS (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by William Shanahan. The Stewards considered that the interference had improved MAJOR SNUGFIT’s placing as ZAMARKHAN (FR) was going easily and making his challenge at the time of the interference and with the distance being a nose they revised the placings as follows: 1st: ZAMARKHAN (FR) and 2nd MAJOR SNUGFIT. Moscrop was suspended for 7 days for careless riding as having jumped left at the second last hurdle, he over-corrected his mount causing considerable interference to ZAMARKHAN (FR) which in turn caused JUST MARVIN (IRE) to become very unbalanced and suffering interference which in turn carried IMPERIAL FOCUS (IRE) off its intended line.

Moscrop was suspended for 7 days for careless riding as having jumped left at the second last hurdle, he over-corrected his mount causing considerable interference to Zamarkhan, which in turn caused Just Marvin to become very unbalanced and suffering interference which in turn carried Imperial Focus off its intended line."

Bloody lucky to escape with 7 days self isolation, imho.

Not sure what the stewards were watching? He made no attempt to correct his mount whatsoever.

And the commentator said Snugfit had banged into Just Marvin which in turn hampered Imperial Focus. No mention of Zamarkhan so maybe that was some  factor in the generous "photo " price until winding back the pics.
